Description - Hyndevad's waterworks is Eskilstuna municipality's largest waterworks, which was put into operation as early as 1915. Drinking water is produced here and each year roughly 9 million m3 of drinking water is produced for approximately 90,000 of Eskilst una's residents. A strategic decision has been taken in the EEM board that the waterworks should be provided with an additional process step for pretreatment of the water consisting of chemical precipitation and lamellar sedimentation.
