Description - Description: SYNOPSIS: The National Park Service, ConOps West, has a requirement to upgrade, repair, and rehab the fire alarm and security systems in multiple buildings in Death Valley Scotty Historic District as well as provide radio coverage in the tunnel system which currently does not exist. The existing inadequate internet and telecommunications infrastructure to and within the Scotty’s Castle complex was damaged and largely destroyed in the October 2015 flood. This project restores and updates internet access, voice communication, and alarm notifications to the Scotty’s Castle complex which is vital for systems including telephone, internet, radio, security and fire alarm systems.
