Description - Description: Kent County Council wishes (KCC) wishes to enter into a contract or contracts for the provision of Metal Recycling Services.The contract(s) will require the processing of all metal arising from the 19 Household Waste Recycling Centres (H WRC) in Kent.The concessionaire must be able to meet the below requirements:- The capability and capacity to receive and process, at a minimum, the estimated annual tonnage of metal for each Lot they are bidding for.- Process both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals.The concessionaire will also be required to have in place:- A waste processing facility with appropriate permitting and planning permissions.- An electronic weighbridge for the weighing-in
