Description - Description: The Mattatuck Museum is replacing its primary Air Handling Unit (19,000 CFM installed in 1985). The current existing AHU serves six independent ductwork zones. In its place, (6) stand-alone vertical air handling units with accompanying h umidifiers will be installed and each serve one of the existing zone configurations. The HVAC System Upgrade trade contractor will be responsible for providing a temporary climate control system for the museum while the existing AH-1 is taken out of service and replaced with the (6) stand-alone air handling units. Exhibit B is provided for reference and includes a possible concept for providing temporary climate control through the exhibit spaces
