Description - The City of Mulhouse operated an authorized household waste landfill in the town of Kingersheim between 1959 and 1969 (prefectural authorization of September 22, 1959). The use of this landfill was gradually diverted from its initial purpose (industr ial and hospital deposits) and related disorders were noted (contamination of private wells, presence of gas in the soil, settlement of the ground, presence of original waste industrial on the site.
