Description - The province of Limburg and Staatsbosbeheer intend to publish a European tender at the end of September 2023 about the management of Maaspark Ooijen-Wanssum (more than 500 hectares). The requested long-term management consists of natural grazing (yea r-round) of 6 years plus one possibility to extend for 6 years. The activities consist of year-round grazing of the floodplains with a herd of approximately 160 cattle. These cattle are suitable for grazing in nature areas that are open to the public.
