Description - Description: South Lanarkshire Council have an ongoing requirement for the supply and deliver of Wood Fuel (Biomass Pellets) for their Education establishments with biomass boilers. To date there is 49 establishments throughout the South Lanarkshire area with biomass boilers that require the supply of these pellets to ensure they operate efficiently and continue to maintain the agreed minimum temperature.In addition to the supply of the biomass pellets, the Council also requires a maintenance and emergency call out service for the maintenance of the Biomass boilers in the 49 properties which includes Primary Schools, Sheltered Housing complexes and other establishments.
