Description - The New York District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) proposes to perform maintenance dredging of the Long Island Intracoastal Waterway (LIIW) Federal Navigation Project at Quogue Canal and Shinnecock Bay. The proposed maintenance dredgin g would remove approximately 50,000 cubic yards (CY) of sand with placement along the shoreline of West of Shinnecock Inlet (WOSI) with nearby Suffolk County directed stockpile, the shoreline of Shinnecock Bay, and upland at a contractor furnished, state permitted site(s), subject to availability of funds. The placement areas are approximately 0.25 to 3 miles from the dredging area. Dredging would be required to a depth of -6 feet Mean Lower Low
