Description - Description Karmøy municipality wishes to prepare a master plan for the municipal road network - Road Master Plan 2025-2033. Karmøy municipality has approx. 312 kilometers of roads and streets as well as approx. 26 kilometers of footpaths/cycleways . The municipality has no updated road maps. The current road master plan is for the period 2016 – 2023. The road master plan must provide an overview of the extent of the road network, the standard and what is required of allocated funds to maintain the road capital and make the right priorities to ensure sustainable and future-oriented development.
