Description - This notice is provided for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals.  The Army Contracting Command-Redstone anticipates awarding a contract for HIMARS production on an other than full and open competitive basis under the autho rity of Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  The proposed contract action will include a 12-month base and 2 option years for up to 288 M142 HIMARS launchers [(Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control LMMFC) Part Number 13545000].
