Description - Description: The object of the assignment is the construction of dikes and water retaining structures at Sigma Level, at the former petroleum cluster (Petroleum-Zuid, Antwerp RO) along the Lower Sea Scheldt. In addition, the project envisages the ext ension of the existing petroleum pier (protected monument), as well as a significant amount of demolition works (above and underground piping, existing (concrete) structures, etc.) and a new mobile flood barrier gate. Finally, adjustments will be made to the concrete platforms that are adjacent to and associated with the petroleum pier.
