Description - Description: DEVCOM ARL requires a pair of press platens to replace damaged platens on the Collin Press 500 S equipment owned by Sciences of Extreme Materials Division, Polymers Branch. The following are required: Shall have one (1) pair (one upper a nd one lower) of press platens The platens shall be compatible with existing Collin Press 500 S equipment and shall have the ability to be directly installed. The platens shall be compatible with the existing control system of the Collin Press 500 S, such that the onboard control system can control heating and cooling of the press platens. The platens shall be capable to withstand 2000N force on a 7” x 7” mold, while using a 1” thick steel
