Description - Description: The port of Husøy was last dredged in the 1980s and is currently too shallow to meet the needs of modern fishing vessels. The depth conditions pose a challenge for both the fishing fleet and the land industry. The Norwegian Coastal Admi nistration has, therefore, been given the task of deepening the harbour basin to a depth of 8.3 metres, so that larger vessels can tarnish safely.
