Description - Salford City Council (SCC) is considering options in relation to its current Enterprise, Resource, Planning (ERP) system, currently provided by SAP. In preparation for this, it is the intention to hold some soft market testing (preliminary market con sultations) workshops to review the current supply market. The same information will be gathered from all providers who wish to participate in the Soft Market testing. SCC currently uses SAP as its core business solution for Finance, Payroll and Procurement services delivered for the council and external clients. SAP ERP is now approaching end of life and as a result, investment is needed to upgrade our current, on-premise solution to SAP's lates
