Description - The HICS G&S Device seals the armored telephone cable line as it exits the conduit. Additionally, it electrically connects the corrugated solid copper shield to the steel conduit, shorting any Electromagnetic Pulse to ground. A replacement for the cu rrent HICS G&S Device is needed. The Government expects a need for 1851-piece parts, including 14 assembled complete devices. The Government has created a 3-Dimensional model in Solid Works format plus Adobe PDFs in 2D, located in Attachment 2.
