Description - Description Halten lighthouse is located on the Halten archipelago in the Froan Sea near Frøya municipality. The lighthouse was established in 1875, the lighthouses original location was on Lista but was taken down and transported to Halten for reas sembly. The lighthouse itself is 29.5 meters high, consisting of natural stone with an internal lining of brick. In the cast iron lantern housing there is a 2nd order lightning flasher from Barbier & Fenestrie which is still intact. The lighthouse is protected under the Cultural Heritage Act §15 and §19 Froan nature reserve and landscape conservation area.
