Description - Description: In March of 2024, The Ministry of Agriculture and Food announced a new Enhanced Replant Program that will provide as much as $70 million in support to help producers replace damaged, diseased and low-producing vines, plants and trees wit h climate-resilient varieties that produce in-demand, premium fruit. The Enhanced Replant Program will include sector-specific Planting Guidelines.This project will develop sector specific Planting Guidelines for the B.C. blueberry, cranberry, hazelnut, cherry, apple fruit, and stone fruit industries by reviewing existing opportunity assessments and consulting with B.C. growers, industry associations, packer-processors and agrologists.Concurrent
