Description - Description: Hailsham Town Council is responsible for two cemeteries in the Hailsham/Hellingly area in East Sussex.The cemetery in Hailsham will mostly be a hand dig, but a machine dig is possible in some areas, if ground conditions are suitable.The cemetery in Hellingly is set up more for a machine dig, but some graves will have to be hand dug, due to their location.Both sites do have issues with wet areas during the winter months and any graves with in these areas will require a hand dig.All digging and grave preparation equipment will need to be supplied by the contractor.The contractor will be responsible for marking out the plot, digging/ back filling and preparation of the grave.The Co
