Description - Description: The Weighbridge to Town Centre Surface Water Link and the Fort Regent Cavern Storm Water Storage Tank (herein referred to as the Cavern) were designed to alleviate overflowing of the town’s sewerage system during periods of high rainfa ll. The storage tank provides the facility for diluted effluent to be retained rather than being discharged directly to sea. The storage capacity is approximately 25,000m3.Once a period of heavy rainfall has come to an end the retained effluent can then be pumped from the Cavern back into the main sewerage system for onward pumping to the Bellozanne STW for treatment.The MCC panel and lighting distribution boards for the Cavern are located in the
