TENDER NOTICE FOR Trainings on ISO 50001- Energy Management System Background: GIZ, an international cooperation enterprise owned by the German Federal Government, implements development programs globally for sustainable development. Under the Indo-German Technical Cooperation, the "Indo-German Energy Programme" (IGEN) is jointly promoted by Germany and India to enhance energy efficiency, renewable energy, and access to energy for environmental and climate protection. Specifically, the Energy Efficiency component (IGEN-EE) collaborates with India's Bureau of Energy Efficiency to implement the Energy Conservation Act, focusing on energy efficiency and conservation. The project, "Energy Efficiency in Industry and Data," funded by BMZ Germany, aims to: a) Build capacity of selected SDAs to promote energy efficiency in Non-PAT industries. b) Provide Non-PAT secondary steel and pulp and paper industries with information on key energy efficiency processes and technologies. c) Institutionalize peer-to-peer learning among SDAs and Non-PAT secondary steel and pulp and paper industry clusters. d) Facilitate a national energy efficiency dialogue for the secondary steel and pulp and paper sector involving policymakers, research institutions, and business associations. Objectives: To provide training on ISO 500010 Energy Management System at industry clusters. Tasks of the assignment: a) Coordination: Coordinate with all stakeholders and organize training workshops. b) Planning and Conduct: Develop an overall activity plan and deliver physical ISO 50001 training at cluster level, each lasting a minimum of two days. c) Training: Provide comprehensive training on all 10 clauses and documentation details. No negotiations/changes to the GTCC shall be acceptable at a later stage.
