TENDER NOTICE FOR Support C&D waste management in Shimla for the project – Integrated Urban Climate Action for Low- Carbon & Resilient Cities Project – Urban Act Background: Under the ambit of Indo-German Development Cooperation, "Integrated Urban Climate Action for Low- Carbon & Resilient Cities’ (Urban Act)- a technical cooperation (TC) project has been initiated with Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The project is funded under the Internationale Klimaschutzinitiative (IKI) by The Federal Ministry for the Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and will be implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ). The Urban Act project aims at improving the systematic integration of climate change perspectives into urban development, to address key gaps and barriers that currently hinder cities to understand their contribution to climate change, the climate risks they face, and the opportunities that come from implementing high impact urban climate actions. Objectives: - Improving Institutional Environment for Urban Climate Policies - Evidence-based and inclusive climate- sensitive spatial and urban planning - Project concepts for urban climate action investments identified - Enhanced knowledge through regional networking, exchange and learning Tasks of the assignment: (Please refer Terms of reference for detailed task). - Analysis of existing conditions of C&D waste in Shimla - Support C&D waste management in Shimla Please refer to the bidding conditions and follow the instructions carefully. The General Terms & Conditions of Contracts Tender timelines: Deadline to receive queries: 27 th March 2024 Clarifications to the queries to be uploaded on web portals: 03 rd April 2024 The deadline for submission of proposals: 17 th April 2024 It is construed that all the terms and conditions of the tender package are acceptable and agreed upon by the participating company. No negotiations/changes to the GTCC shall be acceptable at a later stage. GIZ reserves the right to cancel/modify this tender and /or reject a bid document including subsequently a technical and financial proposal, without assigning any reasons. |
