TENDER NOTICE FOR Support in advisory services for solid waste management (This tender is only for individual consultant/appraiser) Background: India generates 62 million tonnes of municipal waste per annum (CPCB Annual Report 2017 -2018). Out of these, 43 million tonnes (75%) are collected, but only 11.9 million tonnes (20%) are recycled. The main part of the collected waste (~80%) is disposed of at landfills, and this contributes substantially to environmental pollution.
