Description - Sgeir Na Cailleach beacon is located on a rock outcrop in the sound for Sleat, Isle of Skye / Kyle of Lochalsh, position 57º 15.6'N, 5º 38.8'W, has a nominal light range of 4 nautical miles and is approximately 3m high and constructed of reinforced concrete, the working platform at the top of the beacon is accessed by a metal ladder. Potential suppliers must familiarise themselves with the site location and the existing transport network for materials and plant delivery.
