Description - FY24 Swinomish Channel Maintenance Dredging, La Connor, Washington The work includes the removal of accumulated sediment from designated reaches within the Swinomish Channel. Dredging and will be conducted using a clamshell dredge. Dredged material w ill be placed at the Rosario Strait Dredged Materials Management Program (DMMP) open-water dredged material disposal site via bottom-dump scow. Dredging will occur within the environmental in-water work window of 16 Jul 2024 through 15 Feb 2025 The dredging will be accomplished using a clamshell dredge and equipment designed to minimize the potential for impacts to the surrounding environment.
