Description - Description: The object of the assignment is to hire a tunnel safety officer for the Flemish road tunnels. An obligation that AWV has from its role as tunnel manager of a number of TEN-T tunnels on its territory and which results from the European Di rective 2004/54/EC of 29 April 2004 on minimum safety requirements for tunnels in the trans-European transport network. In extension to this, AWV has imposed itself to also appoint a tunnel safety officer for all other road tunnels on its territory. Also for those tunnels (which do not belong to the TEN-T), an adapted but comparable safety level must be applied based on the general legal principle of due care for good management.local title:: Raa
