Description - The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, with Zoetis, Parsippany, NJ for Flu DETECT Avian Influenza Virus Type A ANtigen Test Kits f or use at the National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) located in Ames, IA. Flu Detect Avian kits will support the Wildlife Services National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) for the High Path Avian Influenza outbreak. The Flu Detect Avian is a lateral flow rapid immune migration test. This is the only test of this kind that is made in the United States.
