Description - Description The goal of this assignment is to finalise Uganda’s long-term strategy on climate change. This process shall consider the review and updating of the LTS mitigation assessment modeling work to align with current and ongoing planning proc esses and documents such as NDP4 parameters, alignment with outcomes of the NDP3 midterm review, the new macroeconomic modeling, the energy policy for Uganda, and the draft energy transition strategy for Uganda, setting both Uganda’s LTS economy-wide emission reduction target and sector-specific emission reduction targets, conducting stakeholder consultations and validations with the relevant sectors, and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
