Description - Description: 9 MILE HAND THINNING The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement for the vegetation management activities with an objective of reducing hazardous fuels. Treatments are designed to break up fuel continuity a cross the landscape to reduce the threat of large, uncharacteristic wildfires that could potentially lead to loss of key ecosystem components.
