Description - Description: The technical operations center of the city of Neumünster operates the Neumünster sewage treatment plant. The wastewater treatment plant currently treats the wastewater of around 130,000 inhabitants equivalent. The resulting sewage slu dge is anaerobically stabilized in two digestion tanks with a usable volume of 2,000 m³ each. The digester, the associated stair tower, raw sludge pumping station, gas containers and the machine building were built between 2011 and 2012.
