Description - Parental guidance in the introduction program should help to create safe parents who can give their children a good upbringing and thus promote integration in Norway. From 2021, it is legislated that the municipality must offer mandatory parental gui dance to participants in the introduction program who are parents of children aged 0-18 or who are expecting a child. Parental guidance has been prepared as an element of the introductory programme. In connection with the high arrivals of refugees from Ukraine, a large number of participants in the introduction program, and a shorter program for those with temporary collective protection, a new provision (exception provision) has been introduced
