Description - Description: Currently, the two villages, Homoraciu and Malu Vanat, belonging to the Izvoarele commune, do not benefit from a centralized domestic sewage system. The waste water is discharged directly, without purification, into ditches, torrents, st orm drains that partially seep into the soil, thus polluting the underground water. In some situations, wastewater is collected in drainage basins. In unsewered, but densely populated areas, the existence of sewage discharges in ditches leads to flooding, in addition to water, soil and subsoil pollution.
