EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Name of the Project: Su POSHAN Activity: Development of one brief video and 4 nos of small video documentation (best practices of Nutritional outcomes, Nutrition sensitive, Improved Wash Practices and NRM) Context: IGSSS is implementation Su-POSHN Sustainable - Provision and Occupation through Social Action for Improved Nutrition project in 17 Districts pf 8 states covering 822 villages of India, reaching out to 112551 families. SU-POSHAN was implemented through NGO partners from April 2019 till November 2020 and from December 2020 till date by IGSSS directly. It is a flagship project of IGSSS to enhance the resilience of socially, economically marginalized communities in India by adopting more secure food and nutrition measures in agriculture, diversifying livelihoods portfolio and by practicing climate adaptive measures for a more judicious management of natural resources. Su-Poshan looks food and nutrition security through four objectives: - Improved and diversified nutrition, particularly for women and children under 5 years. Increased monetary incomes for smallholder farmers and landless families through the adoption of diversified and innovative livelihood options. Judicious management of natural resources by the community through the adaptation of climate resilient ecological practices and Strengthened community-based organizations participate in local governance processes. The programme focuses on conducting Participatory Learning and Action Cycles to promote better integration of Agriculture with Nutrition, WASH and Natural Resource Management, Conducting Nutrition Camps for i) identification of malnourished child, ii) community based management and care, iii) nutrition counselling and iv) referral to Nutrition Rehabilitation Centres and Convergence with ongoing government programmes Department of Women and Child Development, Health, Agriculture and Rural Development . Increasing income through diversifying livelihood portfolios. The project will come to an end in March 2024. IGSSS invites Expressions of Interest from the experts for documenting one brief video and 4 nos of small video documentation of best practices Nutritional outcomes, Nutrition sensitive, Improved Wash Practices and NRM) in states like Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh/Maharashtra Interested consultants are requested to send in their applications to IGSSS by 20th January 2024 along with their CV and link to a sample video at email: hr@igsss.net Eligibility: The consultant should have; Experience in developing video documentation of best practices particularly in health and nutrition. Past experiences in documenting same locality and themes. The assignment: One brief video and 4 video documentation (10 minutes and 4 minutes each, 2K video camera, Ratio- 1920-1080) in English with Hindi sub titles on best practices of Nutrition, Wash, diet diversity, agriculture and NRM Location: Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh/Maharashtra Steps & Timeline: Signing ToR Submission of story line Discussion with Team on timeline management Field visit for visual Submission of draft video Submission of final video Submission of invoice Name of Authority: Indo Global Social Service Society (https://www/igsss.org) Opening and screening of EoI : Submission of EoI does not guarantee that the EoI will be accepted. IGSSS will inform the shortlisted consultants Personal canvassing is strictly prohibited. Tax deduction will apply to the fees (if any) in accordance with prevailing Income Tax Act. Signing of ToR: After the verification of CV, IGSSS and the selected consultant will enter into agreement as per the existing norms, rules and regulation of IGSSS. Terms of Payment Fees will be paid in two installments: 1st installment i.e. 50% of the fees will be released after signing of the TOR 2nd Installment and final installment i.e. 50% of fees will be released after submission of the assignment and handover of all documents. The consultant will produce bill for the entire fees for release of final installment.
