Inviting EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EoI) (Consultancy for Website Redesigning for Caritas India) BACKGROUND: Caritas India[1] (a member of Caritas confederation of more than 165 member organizations working in nearly 200 countries, making it the second-largest humanitarian network in the world) came to the forefront with its emergency response. Over its six decades of service in the social development sector, the organization has built its thematic focus in the field of Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Adaptive Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Livelihood and skill development, Anti-Human Trafficking, Migration, Child Rights, Community Health, Peace Building and Community Based Rehabilitation of People Living with Disabilities. It is also a social development arm of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India working in partnership with more than 200 partners including 174 diocesan social service societies at the ground level across the country. With the aim of accomplishing the Sustainable Development Goals, Caritas India is looking forward to joining hands and engaging in partnerships and networking with different groups with an aim to reach out to every corner and individual in need. Caritas India with its key focus on Community Centric Development Approach has strategized 4 key pillars as a part of its development approach to accomplish the SDGs at the community from micro to macro levels. The 4 pillars which drive the development agenda to create a sustainable ecosystem are Empowering Animation, Dialogue, Volunteering and Sharing Communities. As Sustainable Development Goal 17 particularly talks about strengthening partnerships to support and achieve the ambitious targets of 2030 which are very crucial during these times of the pandemic, there is a need that governments, international community, civil society, private sector and other actors are in the know-How of the collective battle against Covid-19 and prepare its people for the future. Therefore, Caritas India is exploring the possibilities of outreach opportunities for digital media-based fundraising to tackle the challenges posed by the Covid-19 situation and the consequent socio-economic impact. I - SCOPE OF WORK: This assignment aims to position Caritas India as a premier nonprofit organization in India by aiming to develop a comprehensive WEBSITE that delivers the communications, outreach and branding of the work of Caritas India. The strategy and content should serve different stakeholders in managing, implementing and overseeing Caritas India’s work, including: (i) the Urban Population of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Cities (ii) Potential Donors/PSUs/CSR/Corporates who are looking for potential partnerships anywhere across India. (iii) State/Region specific targeting on Issue based needs to develop strong motivation towards giving. (iv) All Masses across Social Media Platforms on YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, TWITTER & INSTAGRAM (v) The design shall include the configuration of Google analytics so that the Caritas India will be able to track website visits and visitors II - PURPOSE: The aim of the redesigned website development proposed in this ToR is to address the above need. For this task, Caritas India is inviting proposals from reputable and qualified companies with a track record of success in developing websites for non-profits. The assignment is expected to deliver a comprehensive website that is able to market, communicate, create a brand and deliver the outreach strategy for CARITAS INDIA which shall be executed in accordance with the Communications Team and adhering to the visibility guidelines of the organization. The assignment is expected to include: a) innovative marketing and branding insights to CARITAS INDIA’s work should be visible in the website design and development. b) It should be clearly integrated to all existing content of the website and ensure user-friendly design for all masses. c) The website should be able to generate strong viewership and attractive in nature of its presentability. d) The website should support CARITAS INDIA to package its services in a way that is compatible with the needs of its audiences, including governments, donors and the private sector. Caritas India expects a very high level of visibility and understanding of CARITAS INDIA in the country and International Levels (Asian Context & European Context) as a result of this assignment.
