Description - Description The EEG 2023 envisages an expansion of the installed capacity of solar systems to 215 GW in 2030 and 400 GW in 2040. As part of the expansion of the area backdrop, artificial and significantly modified bodies of water were included as a n ew funding category in the EEG 2023. The nature conservation impacts of floating PV systems have hardly been researched to date. There is a lack of knowledge about the medium and long-term consequences of floating PV systems on aquatic ecology and biodiversity. The aquatic fauna and flora could e.g. B. can be influenced by changes in light, wind and mixing conditions. The aim of the project is to determine and evaluate the effects of FPV systems
