Description - Along the beautiful Rideau Canal, close to the vibrant Downtown Core sits an underutilized commercial and industrial area with the potential of becoming a key waterfront destination in the Town of Smiths Falls. A previous visioning exercise helped re imagine the area to see its full future potential and provide the Town with new design concepts that served as the first step in an overall master planning project. The Town of Smiths Falls seeks proposals from qualified consultants to produce a revitalization master plan to see the Centre Street area reimagined into a beautiful, vibrant and active place of commerce and community, which connects and expands our Downtown Core to the waterfront.
