Description - Description: This is a design-build project for design and repair/replacement of the roofing systems of three facilities (Buildings B597 Gymnasium, B3045 CE Warehouse, and B754 Hangar 7) on Eareckson Air Station, Shemya, AK. Eareckson Air Station is located near the western tip of Aleutian Chain approximately 1500 miles west of Anchorage, AK, a logistically challenging, remote location accessible only by air and/or barge. All three buildings are currently in use, to varying degrees, by users on the installation. Work will also include incidental mechanical/electrical work to facilitate roof drainage and removal/re-installation of any roof top appliance, grounding, and/or lightning protection
