The scheme comprises a primary heat generation station at Lochhead landfill site comprising landfill gas engine CHP, an aerobic gas engine CHP and wood chip biomass boilers. This supplies via Broomhead Energy Centre via a 2.5km DN150 connection.Broomhead energy centre is located west of the A823 Pilmuir Street off Broomhead Drive.
