Description - Design of 4160V / 600V E-House for East Side Pump Station Synopsis: WSA owns and operates the East Side Pumping Station (ESPS). This station is situated on the east side of Gardiner Dam and pumps water from Diefenbaker Lake into the M1 Canal. This st ation operates from May through October annually and was built in the late 1960’s. Additional pumps have been added to the station since it was originally constructed. The 4160V and 600V switchgear and MCC panels to run the four irrigation pumps are located around the perimeter of the building where there is available space. This presents congestion and electrical safety issues as the non-QEW workers who operate the pumps are in close proximity
