Description - The Naval Research Lab (NRL) intends to award a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for the design, development, construction, integration, and testing of Black Pearl class Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).  This acquisition will provide for the design and modification of NRL's existing Black Pearl class AUVs to accommodate newly developed NRL payloads.  Additionally, this action will provide for the production and delivery of five (5) uniquely modified Black Pearl class AUVs to accommodate payloads developed and provided by NRL, and Vehicle maintenance, at-sea operations support, and engineering support of the special
