Description - Description: The Conference Building at the JRC-Geel site (in Belgium) was build almost 50 years ago. It has currently reached the end of its service life, therefore a deep renovation strategy that complies with current regulations has been implement ed to enhance energy efficiency and modernise its facilities. Additionally, an extension part has been proposed where a range of staff and social activities can be accommodated, transforming the whole building into multifunctional spaces for conferences, trainings sessions, events, collaboration, and social gatherings.
