Description - The Drug and Chemical Evaluation Section (DOE) of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Diversion Control Division (DC) is responsible for evaluating drugs and chemicals to determine whether these substances have abuse potential. Law enforcem ent and forensic laboratory data have reported increased encounters of hallucinogenic substances. Abuse of some of these hallucinogenic substances has been associated with adverse health events.
