The Province of BC recently adopted Bill 46-2023 – Housing Statutes (Development Financing) Amendment Act, 2023, w here the Province expanded the list of facilities for which Development Cost Charges (DCCs) can be imposed and also introduced a new tool, Amenity Cost Charges (ACCs), to help local governments finance services and amenities through development.
