Description - Description: The new SCMS is a completely self-contained system consisting of a 5T superconducting magnet coil with its own cryogenic system, a room temperature iron return yoke and a power supply for the magnet. Cryogenic technology does not rely on an external infrastructure, but only on electrical energy and cooling water.In this sense, any closed-loop cryocooler is acceptable, although solutions that are completely free ofliquid cryogen are preferred.
