Description - Description: The events around the heavy rain in the summer of 2021, as in last year in different parts of Germany, have emphasized the need that the effects of heavy rain induced floods of falls generally and particularly have to be examined for the transport infrastructure (BMDV 2023; DWD 2024b). Between 2023 and the end of 2025, reference cards are created and published by the Federal Office of Cartography and Geodesy (BKG).
