Description - Description: The Authority would like to appoint a Main Contractor to deliver a programme of repairs and restoration to return Green's Mill to working condition.Green's Mill is a Grade 2 listed heritage site built by Mr Green in 1807. His son, George Green, a celebrated mathematician inherited the Mill but after his death in 1841 it fell rapidly into disrepair.Acquired by Nottingham City Council in 1985 it was restored as a working Windmill along with construction of new buildings to form a Science Centre where visitors can discover the importance of Green's Theorem.Due to decay in the cap frame and issues with deterioration, the sails were removed in 2022.
