Description - Description: As a Waste Disposal Authority, Devon County Council is responsible for providing facilities (Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs)), at which members of the public can discard their bulky household waste. The Authority tendered this service provision in 2016, with an initial term of 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2022 and a maximum extension period of a further 4 years. The Authority has extended the contract for the maximum extension period, meaning that the contract will officially end on 31st March 2026.
