NIT No:- DC/Cons. 02/Tender/GRCM/2023/68 Dated:17/02/2023 PRESS NOTICE Sealed Tenders are invited for the proposed Construction of Retaining Wall along with Ramp, Lift Pit and Lift Installation at Dispur College, Dispur Guwahati from reputed Class-I Contractors of State PWD, CPWD Central and State Govt. undertaking and will be received by the undersigned on or before 3.PM of 28-02-2023.The Principal Dispur College, Assam invites bids for the work stated in the table below with a validity of 120 (One twenty) days from the date of opening of the bids from registered Contractor/Firm/ Pvt. Limited Co. APWD (Building). The Press Notice will be a part of the Bidding Documents. Principal Dispur College Assam, Dispur, Guwahati-6 TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. No bank guarantee shall be accepted as security deposit at any stage. 2. If contractor fails to start the work within the stipulated time as per work order, the security deposit shall be forfeited. 3. Selected tendered shall require to sign the formal tender agreement in “F-2” form before commencing the execution of work. 4. Payment : a) The payment will be made subject to availability of fund. b) The payment will be made through Accounts Payee Cheque only. c) Income Tax will be deducted as per Govt. circular. d) The contractor/firms will be responsible for the defects within the liability period as per rule of the tendered in prescribed format (As enclosed with tender form), 10% of the amount of final bill will be deducted from all kinds of bill as a security amount for any defects/liabilities for a period as per rule of the department from completion of the work when certificate about satisfactory functioning of the work is received from the authority. 5. The contractor should employ the technically qualified person at site of the work during execution of work for supervision of works and to receive any instructions related to technical works deliver by the officers of department as and when necessary. 6. No Labour below the permissible age and having no citizenship of India shall be employed on the work. 7. The contractor should get themselves registered for engaging labourers as per Contract Labour Act. 1970. 8. The contractor shall provide his own tools and machineries for execution of the works. 9. The stack materials like cement, rods etc. will be purchased by the contractor himself. 10. Permits for the forest product necessary for the work will be obtained by the contractors on payment of usual royalty etc. as directed by the forest department. 11. Compensation including cost any suit for injury to person/labours or property due to negligence of any measures of precaution which may become payable for operation of work, compensation will be borne by the contractor. 12. If the contractor shall desire an extension of time for completion of the work on the ground of having been unavoidable hindered in its execution or on any other ground, he shall apply in writing to the department within 15(fifteen) days of the date of hindrance on account opinion (which shall be final) on reasonable grounds are shown may authorize such extension of time. 13. All works shall have to be carried out as per APWD general specification and as directed by the department. 14. The contractor shall employ sufficient number of labours (Skilled/Unskilled) to maintain the required rate of progress of execution of work and to the satisfaction of the Concern Authority. 15. All the other terms and conditions as per rules and procedures followed by the Government. 16. Related others conditions are as per NIT. The Contractors/Firms will have to quote rates as per estimates rates, below or above on percentage basis in prescribed tender forms issued by the undersigned. 2. Tender affixing court fee stamps with requisite earnest money is to be submitted for the work by Bank call deposit/Bank draft/FD of any Nationalized Bank/ pledged to the Principal Dispur Collage. No tender will be accepted without depositing the earnest money & VAT Clarence, GST Registration, Labour License & other Tax Return Certificate as Admissible. 3. The cost of Tender Paper is Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees One Thousand only) 4. Payment will be made as and when fund will be available against the Work 5. The concerned authority reserves the right accept any tender or reject any BID and to cancel the Bidding process and reject all BIDs at any time prior to the awards of Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders or any obligation to inform the affected Bidder. 6. Income Tax return for the Last 3 years. 7. The contractor / Firms shall quote rate considering the latest Govt. order circular, notification on VAT/GST and Labour Cess as admissible. 8. Security deposit @5% of the estimated cost as admissible has to be deposited by successful tender in the form DD/FD duly pledged to the Principal Dispur Collage before issuance of the work order. 9.
