Description - Arnhem City Theater (municipal monument) (approximately 7,500 m² gross floor area) is in need of renovation. The renovation includes the demolition of the stage tower, the 'back house' and the other, non-monumental parts. Approximately 4,800 m² wil l be demolished, after which only the monumental part of approximately 2,800 m² GFA remains. Approximately 8,000 m² of gross floor area will be added. The design team is currently developing the design to create a suitable, contemporary, sustainable, accessible and future-proof City Theater.
