Description - Cheshire East Council (the Council) is exploring the opportunity to develop a decarbonised solution for residual waste processing at the Environmental Hub, Middlewich. This solution should support the council’s commitment to be Carbon Neutral in it s operations as well as future proof the operation at the environmental hub by reducing maintenance requirements, increasing efficiency and total refuse processing potential. The solution should also at least be cost neutral regarding its current operating costs. It is anticipated that there is revenue potential in removing recyclable material from residual waste which should also be explored in any market engagement submission.
