Description - Food Standards Scotland requires a Contractor conduct a survey of mycotoxins and alkaloids in plant-based protein products. The aim of the survey is to further understand the risk of presence of mycotoxins in plant-based meats and plant-based protein products. The sample size will be approximately 100 samples and FSS is looking for a contractor to provide quantitative levels of certain mycotoxins and alkaloids, and in addition, a mycotoxin and alkaloid screen for those additional contaminants which cannot be quantified.
